Pro-Force is delighted to announce we have been selected as an operator of the Seasonal Poultry Workers Scheme. This builds on our successful poultry pilot in 2021 and four years as a sponsor under the Horticulture scheme.
As announced by the government in June 2022, the Seasonal Worker Scheme has been extended until the end of 2024, with 2,000 visas being made available for the Poultry sector.
The visas will allow seasonal workers to come to the UK to work in the poultry sector between October and December, ensuring producers are able to effectively deal with the festive peak in production. The workers will be permitted to work in positions that are seasonal, and in a number of different roles such as butchers, catchers, pluckers, processing and packing.
