Back to Blogs

What an incredible evening the Pro-Force team had at the FPC Awards on Friday night at the Grosvenor House in London. It was a true celebration of excellence in the fresh produce industry, and we couldn't be more thrilled to be a part of it.

We were honoured to be shortlisted as Finalists for the Business Service Partner Award this year. The night was filled with joy as our team gathered to honour the remarkable achievements within our sector. It was the perfect occasion to celebrate our own accomplishments, reconnect with old colleagues and meet new faces.

Although we didn't take home the award this time, being recognised among such outstanding businesses is a commendable milestone. Just being shortlisted as Finalists was a win in itself!

A special highlight of the evening was witnessing our friends at Emery Soft Fruits, also part of the Greosn Group, take home the coveted UK Grower of the Year award! Their commitment to sustainable farming practices and innovative berry production truly sets them apart. Emery's dedication to water management, biodiversity, and reducing carbon emissions reflects an unwavering commitment to environmental responsibility and future-proof farming. Huge congratulations to James and his remarkable team for this well-deserved recognition!

The 2024 FPC Fresh Awards, often referred to as the Oscars of our industry, showcased the glitz and glamour of the fresh produce world while honouring those who supply our nation's fresh food. We were proud to stand alongside the best and witness the incredible talent and passion driving our industry forward. Congratulations to all the winners and finalists and a big thank you to the organisers for hosting such a fantastic event. From growers to wholesalers, service providers, and retailers, the night encapsulated the essence of what makes our industry thrive.
